Serpent is usually good at replacing missing parts.
I think World Model CO. LTD. is the distributor for the Philippines.

HEY... Now that looks good. Sorry for the late reply... I have been shuffled around a bit at work and have still not finished setting up my PC. how are things on that side... My car is complete, I have got a battery for my starter but I have as yet not got a charger for it, wanted to run this weekend, but could not, all is well otherwise. I wanted to run on the track. I LOVE MY CAR!!!

Guess what... I got all my missing parts on Saturday... WOW that was fast. I also got my stuff from RCCarinternational... I have completed the car. One thing I wanted to cnkow, how do you set the ride height on the car, I have set the up-stops, the down-stops and all that, I am able to set it with the shocks, (threaded bits) but then to measuse it with the hudy ride height guage is a little hear raising as the chassis has a bevel which makes for a dificult one to see the guage. Does anyone have a tip for this?

Marcos, How is the house coming along? How did the meeting go last week?

How do you mean you set the up-stops and downstops by using the shocks?

Did you not use the H11 grub screws on the upper bumper plate as in Step 1.7 (page 6) of the manual to set the front droop or the H12 grub screws in the rear bottom arms as in Step 3.5 (page 12) to set the rear droop? Up-stops usually not required or not set.

BacterC, I normally use the Hudy gauge of course but now with the 710 I have the same problem as you.

So ... glue a couple of coins together. Make sets for 6.5, 7, 7.5 mm or whatever you desire and use them directly under the chassis.

Simple, works and extremely fast to use during the rush of a race!

;)

Where to put the fuel tubing... in the drive ball cups and the driven ball cups , short little pieces will do, I found that the cups have little holes at the ends and the tubing fits into them nicely. so they can be a little longer, but they stay, and do not unbalance the cups as much as a little piece. I will try to show you at a later stage.

Fortunately I have a couple of old centax shielded bearings which I can put in my 710, but one is quite gritty. I've cleaned it in degreaser and as I can't open the bearing, I've simply soaked it in serpent bearing oil. Seems nice and smooth now, but is there a better solution?

I think this would be the best as metal shielded bearings are a little bit tricky. if it is smooth, you should be ok.

Sorry D...

My fault, I meant I have setup the up stops and down stops, then set the ride height withthe shocks... not the up and down stops withthe shocks:blush: sorry.

Thank you... GREAT Tip...

Has anyone given the 'Non-melting Grease' from Spanjaard a try...? I have used it on my diff and my thrust bearings, is soooo smooth and is sticky as anything. AND it does not have MUGEN on it.
