 I think he is based in US. I got him mixed with another 13 year old who races the 950 at Revelation Raceway.

Are you going into 1/8th scale as well with Goldfinger?:sneaky: :D

If you are very familiar around electronics, you could even get DC power supply cheaply. Think computer PS unit ! They provide very good and clean DC supplies and they come very cheap too.

It says
Operating voltage 11v .... 15V DC
12V lead-acid battery or APEX V12 220V AC S.P.S> max approx. 10A

it also came with a plug to go in the wall but it seems to have a british plug on it which we dont use over here so i dont think i can plug it into the wall?

You could use gel cells on racing site to peak your receiver pack for that long race. But they themselves need to be charged.

You bet !!
We trying to proove the theory that someone gave me, he said:
"With same bodyshell, after racing 1/8 car in the same track, you will find that 1/10 is somewhat slower. So we'll having more control in that "slow"car"

Make sense ?

Even though my Tamiya EVO III isn't as fast as my 710, I "play" with it on a very, very tight indoor circuit. "Playing" with my 710 afterwards is a piece of cake  ....well, almost

Do you have a 200mm GTP/Lola, too? If yes, how does it compare with a 1/8th?

I felt that too

Yes, in my last race in JITC my fastest lap is 17.4, track record is 16.9.
In 1/8 class, recently broke again by Indonesia no1 (TeddySyach)
15.55 sec. using KHM !! last record was 15.8

Interesting ! 220/240 should not be a problem right?

Are you sure rest of EU is 220? I checked and Germany and UK was 230... Malaysia is 240. NZ is 230.

But I still believe more on this theory.. you will always be able to drive other bigger car than you currently driving (that`s why I will prove that I too could drive 1/8 as I did with 1/10)... So I would suggest you to buy some mini-Z with some racing motor and go to races. The bigger the car, the easier for you to see where it`s going:lol:

...

hey, i felt the same way about my 710, easy to drive...except that my EVO 3 is faster in the chicane
