Thank you, The more I think about it, the more it will be an ALL Important tool, I am having nightmares about uneven shocks, I dread building shocks, but I think this would help greatly.
Shocks are definately very important to get right - next to tweaking, they are probably the item that I spend most time in getting right - so a good tool is not a waste! But don't stress yourself if you haven't got the Losi tool, you can do it almost as well by hand.

Shock building takes a little practice - even though the first time I built mine, I'd read all the instructions and tips, it wasn't until building the 710's shocks that I felt I'd done a good job

Potential import duty and shipping costs make the border cheaper for me.

Tornado (used by the Serpent guys) and Runner Time fuels are very popular here! Generally most use the 16% mix - this is what I use.

I agree with you on tornado, good fuel, I was going to import it but it was too expensive customs wise. I use sidewinder 16%, also great fuel, will make my motor sing tomorrow

I'm not sure, but I think my 705 kit came with additional very short body posts, with only 2 holes in them. I used those and actually had to put shims underneat because the body was sitting too low.

My Impulse came with those small body post also.
That's what I used when I used the GTP body.

Are you guys using them on the front rammer? or in the original touring car body post position like in my pic below?

I had mine setup the same way you have it in the picture.
My upper bumper is cut the same way you have it also.

Default Clutch

Is anyone using the stock Centax III, or has everyone modified theirs?
Would the new yellow clutch shoe (802509) help with the slipping clutch problem?
Here's a description of the new shoes.

To increase performance of the Centax 3 clutch system even further, Serpent are pleased to present the new yellow clutch shoe. The new material reduces the clutch slipping, which therefore allows more power to get to the wheels. This creates a more efficient performing clutch system but does make the engine work harder.

Isn't the stock clutch shoe an XP type?
I know on the older clutches the yellow was the stock clutch shoe.
They also had a black one that allows slip and an XP one that was supposed to give more punch.
If the stock Centax III shoe is an XP, why would the yellow one have less slippage?

And the same goes for me.
I think the bumper is too flexible to hold the body.
