Hello everybody in this tread, I am new to RC, after reading a lot in this forum, I finally decide to join. I have a 710 lately. wish every here can teach me more about this wonderful car :)

rebuilding diff
Can i put the serpent 50wt silicine diff. lube on the truss bearing (please correct my spelling) instead of the graphice grease?

Thanks About the Graphite lube (dry powder), you can buy it in any auto parts store (autozone, trakauto, etc) I mixed the graphite powder with 7000 diff lube and got a good sticky grey thing for thrust bearings :D A good grease also is the one used for engines assembly , it has molybdene.(also at autoparts stores) 50weight oil for thrust bearing sounds kinda thin |
I previously had put AE black grease before, but I have found that i doesnt last very long.
i should try to get what the manual calls out for. thanks |

Try to get the mugen super grease. It's good grease and works perfectly. One tube is enough for a season or 2 ( I think ).:smile:
