The Robin Reliant does? I didn't think so. Lets get back to have 4 wheels on the track :tire: :tire: :tire: :tire:

Can anyone please tell what effect does the front solid axle has on the handling?
Thanks

It makes the car more stable to drive especially under hard breaking with all 4 wheels. It is a lot faster on a tighter track than running a one-way or diff.

As far as I'm concerned so far, the one way in the 710 feels more like a solid axle than the solid axle does.

That I would agree with because i have known nothing but one-way from my 1:8th days. But on a wet track the solid axle is by far the best part available in my opinion.

To maximise your front solid experience (not as in your level of driving but sense of joy) you should try running solid front and rear. On a good clean smooth track (even tight and twisty) this is a real fast way to race once you get the feel for it. I first used this method back in 2000/2001 (memory fade - ask Tabushi) with my yokomo and almost got laughed off the forums for suggesting it until others tried it. Even Mr Tossolini tried it I believe.
