You don't need the big bucks to keep up!?!

my 710 has leveled the playing field (for a while). This car is amazing, I've only raced with it once but what an improvement over my mugen. I work at Revelation Raceway, and there is often many very fast guys who come to my track. With my mugen, no matter what I did I had to force the car in the infield to even come close to keeping up, and everyone knows its hard to stay consisent when you are forcing the car. Now I cruise around the infield, at quarter to half throttle and the fast guys are wondering what happenned to me,they're forcing it to keep up. Its easy to stay smooth when you're not forcing the car. I think I have the Serpent design team to thank for this, I think I'm a pretty good driver, but I don't think I woke up a better driver 8 hrs. after finishing building the kit. P.S. tell the mugen, assc., &ofna team drivers the 710 stinks. please!

I think Ken is right ! We should tell everybody that the car stinks and that it has lots of problem ! :sneaky:

The guy is right - what a piece of shit this car is - wish I'd bought a Mugen!

Regarding your setup D and what Julius said about keeping the track width as close to 200mm as possible - you don't find the smaller movement in the rear suspension a problem?

I can tell you one thing, I LOVE doing bodies, sitting for 4 or 5 hours with the decals, I LOVE IT. I love it as much as running in and tuning a brand new engine, building a brand new kit, getting it just perfect. problem is I dont want to race with those bodies... I have 2 unpainted bodies, I just need a compressor and some paint, and I am also going to wait for the kit to arrive so I can build it and line up the body on the car

I'll send you mine, so that you can enjoy yourself even more - I'm not a great fan of cutting, masking and painting - I want to be at the track testing :D

Don't know... Without shocks, the rear arm assembly seems to move very smoothly without binding up and down. Don't think that causes any problems. I know that running a narrower rear trackwidth somehow gets the tail end of the car moving more fluid and following the front of the car especially when you run a a solid front.:sneaky:
