Originally posted by InitialD Taken from the 710 FAQ; is there a solid front axle included in the kit ? Ronald Baar (NL) 14−11−03 at 17:16 Almost; the standard front shaft with one-way bearings can be locked by using the optional set #802252; in this set are 2 pins to lock the front shaft (there are 2 holes in the shaft and holes in the 2 driveshaft adaptors and an alu bushing to slide over the pins). Pictures in the product-section soon. So I guess you need to buy the optional part that locks the one way front. The shocks are the same as the 705. The yellow springs in the pics look the same as the ones from the 705. But in the FAQ, it is mentioned that there are going to be new optional springs. SN |

The Springs we have as optional are : Soft : Orange Middle soft : White Middle : Yellow (in the kit) Middle hard : Red Hard : Blue |

I would imagine all new gear tools will be coming our way also.,Right?.....(pinion gear holder, trans gears,etc?)..
is it still possible to use a HUDY set up with the rear suspension?.... will gear diffs ever be an option?...And how soon will that front ball diff be available?..Reason I ask is that on most of our tracks, one ways don't work well.....and the solid axles don't give enough low sp turn in... |
He Rene i hope you can beat me !!
But i will give you a hard time, take you're dp with you because our track support it ;)

cool!! Thanks for the pulley info.I just punched it in my ratio calculator
front 1.8421 rear 1.875 difference 1.0179 on same mm tyres I like the slight over drive to the front of the car I run a 1.0255 (same size tyres)right now and love it I'll have to mess with some pulley configurations to see what all I can come up with with all the different pullies I have should be fun |

Yes, there will be a new pinion gear- and clutch housing holder. We are also use the Hudy setup-Tool. There will no problem to use it. At the moment we had not planed to make a gear diff. I don’t know exactly, when the front diff will be available. But it will not take long time, because we also know that a one-way or a solid axle doesn’t work on every track. |

I like that yall took the time and thought process to develop this car. With all the options available and setup should be sweet!

Originally posted by InitialD Ummm, slight front overdrive... Woow, totally new pulleys. Wouldn't the production have benefitted if the 16T front middle pulley was retained and the 24T front and rear side pulley used again? These pulleys are all common ones. Also with the new sizes the belts run over larger diameter pulleys (especially the front belt) which makes them last longer and run smoother Julius |
The front hollow shaft from the 705 will it work on the car?what about the fc blocks for steering?
|
Hey Julius Welcome!! So our pullies we have now wont be able to be used on the car?I take it yall have tighter tolerances on the new pullies.
