Help, I'm cursed!

What's the difference between the new 710 pink o-rings for the shocks and the old orange ones?

I'm missing one of the o-rings from my 710  someone (maybe InitialD? ;) ) has cursed my kit - I'm missing H11 screws, throttle spring and now an o-ring

I have some o-ring spares from my 705, but what would happen if I use one of them on one side and on the other the normal 710 ones?

Cheers, Mark.

Answered my own question - the orange ones have a lot more resistance than the pink ones.

I can't complete my build at the moment in-any-case, as I still don't have a motor   and the weather is: http://www.world-of-smilies.de/html/...hnachten10.gif

At the moment, I'm upto step 5 at the moment, but girlfriend says we have to go out to the cinema today  She was getting suspicious that I was keeping something from her, seeing as I hadn't rang this week

Kudo Serpent! Just got a reply from Pieter Bervoets about this missing parts (only took him a few minutes to reply!!!) - they'll be sent on Monday!! http://212.227.253.81/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif

Cheers, Mark.

It's amazing how little time is required to put this car together. When I built my 705, it seemed to take ages, but with the 710, it seems to have taken no time at all to get to a point where there isn't so much left to do!

Well, at least she's not suspicious that you're doing something else! :sneaky:

Wait till you have to do maintenace ... its even easier. I had to do quite a few things already and its been quick.

Definitely the racer's choice as far as I'm concerned! :)

well, I strongly recomment you to finish the whole 710 first and try to find all the missing or broken parts and email Serpent at once....that happened to me on my Impulse PRO, 705 (build for a friend) and 835.....it is human error, they pack their parts by hand, so mistake might happen....

But again, Serpent will usually respond within a day and ship the missing/broken parts within a week.................I am always wonder, what if I got a Kyosho, Mugen, HPI or Tamiya kit...? Do I need to call Japan and learn Japanese before I get my parts shipped to my house wtihin a year...?

Customer Service of Serpent is top of the line.....I wish they can hold a OPEN DAY for their customer once a year......(I really want to see that WALL OF FAME from Serpent Europe.)

Bearing I think I broke it... please help me

Guys, I wanted to clean my bearings to I opened one of the larger ones, I found that it had no grease, but it had a yellow looking matter in there. I pulled it out and i noticed that this was spacing the balls inside the bearing. I have attached some pictures, - is this yellow stuff something that needs to be in the bearing? or does it need to be thrown away if I want to replace the grease with OIL?

Please help me, I am building a new kit.
