Mind you, I nearly went into the fence when we were both on the straight and your 5 port thingy blitzed past my little JP FX 3 port - an impressive amount of power has that 5 port

I just wished I had the video camera on when you did that other stunt (that was without my car anywhere near yours). ;)

I;ve only ever seen two people do that and both of you guys did it on the same day too!

Put a paper or a plastic piece in between the spur and the pinion before meshing. Once you locked the engine mountings in place, take the piece of paper / plastic out.

For me, I do not use that already because after a while, you'll already know how to gauge the meshing by feel and sight.

Just answering your question about the new servo saver and steering linkage mounting, I think you need to mount the steering link at the bottom. Else, it will rub.

How is that calculated? On the droop gauge (+1) or by lifting the chassis up 1 mm from the ride height before the front wheels start to lift of the ground?

What was your front and rear trackwidth?

Cool B4. Let us know how it goes and please do not forget to share your setup.

Congrats to the team rcpanama. ;) I think that the UTI / LT combo in the rear makes the rear RC a little higher than stock UBI / LB. Perhaps with a front diff it is a better combo since the slightly higher rear RC will make the rear of the car rotate better.

Yes, I notice that braking is much more possible with the oneway when the rear sway bar is set harder ! The car tracks straight even when the rear wheels lock. The new Ellegi tires also makes this possible. I notice a lot more traction under braking.

D, Good question, We were going through this the other day

We measure the droop as per the serpent setup book.

+1mm on the droop gauge with the right blocks under the car.

The tyres sparksy has are rubbish :sneaky: He was running them to get rid of them. They are Fast tyres no offset i think

He was runnin g 198 F and 200 R track width
