The difference between left and right isn't that big, actually it isn't even there...
If you have build your car correctly, there should be no difference in car end points between left and right. If there is, you've build an asymetrical car... My Serpent is symetrical, I guess your Shepherd also is...

And for your information, I've never driven a track which had left and right corners which where exactly the same....
I don't think it is a big issue...

Just a tip: Trim your servo in 0-degrees looking at your servo-saver (allign front with front shaft). Then adjust your toe-out setting so right and left are equal.
Finally adjust your end point to equal left and right
Good luck!
Duhuh...
Already did that with the first car (PB international) I had, 28 years ago...

You need to ask one of the team drivers, Im just the messenger. I dont think it has to do with the suspension, I think it has to do with flex on the 2spd shaft, although I dont know of anyone that has had that problem. I havent striped any belts or spurs on my car, and Im running one of the original pre-release convertions.

Maybe Paolo or Nigel can chime in and shed some insight into it.

Yep, you were totally wrong there....

but it seems the 2-piece rear design does have a problem... I know the Velox with a simulair design does have some issues as well they try to solve.
Again you are wrong, it is not a problem, it is made because some Italian drivers wanted to have a stiffer rear end....
So Serpent listened to there customers and brought a stiffener on the market....

I guess there’s isn’t anything going on with other brands so people need to come into the Serpent threads and hate on the brand. Time would be better spent on making the other brands better, instead of trying to make the customers think that Serpent is worse, but then you cant improve on perfection. Haters, just haters. I dont see any Serpent fans on the Mugen or Sheperd threads, just shows you how profesional they are

I visit the other cars threads, but I don't badmouth them....
sometimes a joke should be possible I think, although difficult because you don't know how people will react, certainly on this multi cultural forum..... but still....

I never understand why people that use x brand goes in to the y thread to write. I read other threads that I race against but never write in it to waste their time.

I think it is always easy to blame the equipment, I sometimes do it and I find that most of the times I was doing something wrong so I definately make sure that it is manufacturing error and not a user (me) stupidity.

Ok back to the topic and enough of Shephards and mugens etc... This is a Serpent 966 Thread... All others, use the restroom
