Looking at it, I think this is a pro level car kit allright, ..... not suitable for beginers.

It's very high performance racing car but it also fragile ..... especially the rear aluminium lower suspension mount and the upper supension arms at front and rear.

Who cares!

If people would just scroll back a few pages, cost has been talked about a dozen times in this thread, betting money back then and still now says around $100 cheaper than you can buy the MRX5 for, and Mugen may release pricing information next week anyway.

Hi Bishop!

Can you please explain me why couldn´t you mount a low profile servo with MTX5?

In my humble opinion i cannot see why coudnt´t you... Low profile servos have identical shape in the upper part. Only smaller in the deaph of the case.

Best regards.

actually correction, i agree with Luis, if you look closely the ears of the throttle servo almost hit the steering servo, but what Bishop hasn't considered is the body of the servo is further in from the edge of the ears, so really the exit of the wire from the steering would fit in the space between the ear of the throttle servo and the body of the throttle servo

It 'can be mounted in any case servo low profile. If you need to add a thick so I do not see the problem (though it seems unlikely that this is necessary). In any case, the mugen has certainly adapted to the electronics market and has certainly provided the use of such servi.

If all goes well, expect the car in Italy in late August-early September

It looks like the Front lower arm will have roll center adjustments and also pivot point adjustments. This will be a first in Nitro...:D

carbon fiber plates to connect the tie rods? Sure hope they survive a crash (or hope the replacement isn't madly expensive)

Mugen has done the same on the MRX5 and the MBX6. On the MRX5, there are aftermarket aluminum options if durability is an issue. Same goes for the lower shock mounts on the MRX5. The advantage is the ability is to buy one part and attach the carbon fiber arm. instead of a left and right part.
