Interesting clutch

Also, when you look at the gap between the pipe and car, you reliase how narrow it is

Oh hello sexy...

My first thought is I'm gob smacked by how good it looks (in highly functional ways), and by how close it looks to the CAD pictures.

There is so much in those pictures about what I want in a nitro touring car, and that rear diff is so tiny right down to the pulley size, oh I so have to have one, I waited and I'm so glad I did...

Finally, Mugen has entered the room!!!! The car looks very nice. My only concern is the lack of a brace on either side of the engine. Hopefully it will not flex there like it did on the MTX3 and MTX4. Looks like a Christmas purchase for me!!!!

Interesting to see that Mugen choose to mount the battery on the left side of the tank. Should be interesting to see what that will do to left-right weight distribution.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

I think I remember the current gen Nitro touring cars would be balanced L/R with approximately 30grams on the pipe side using full size servos. The 5 uses both servos laid down and the receiver on that side so it kind makes sense to move the battery and it makes room for the adjustable weight running in the middle of the chassis. The 733 crew should know more about this as the Serpent shares a similar layout.
