Questioning if it's a good car?

We raced at one of the toughest weekends racing in Australia, top 4 in a sanctioned meeting were 2 x Capricorn C02 and 2 x Mugen MTX5 and no one had a chassis advantage, they were equal in performance it all came down to the driving and setup and power.

I'm not questioning the car. I have had this car for over a year. Its built but I have never put an engine in it. I heard about the gear stripping out and I go through all that so I just kept driving my RRR. One guy at my track has the brace and he told me where to get it from but I can never find it. I emailed the guy but he didn't get back with me. SO, I'm still looking for a brace.

You can get the brace from Knack Racing! Its really a good brace for the car. They sale a lot of different things for the Mugen cars. I have the brace on my car and haven't stripped any gears yet.

Copyright only blocked Japan and Germany to the best of my knowledge. It was the second track

+1 blis, I am only able to view a couple of your older videos on my ipad, I can't view the latest one (weird??). Haven't had this issue in the past with your videos...

Many mobile devices prevent it. I'll try on my Ipad soon.

Ok Here

Hi Harry, I know this doesn't help much but I'm not having any trouble viewing your clips. Sorry for the others though.

Not much help with programs or computers, receiving it fine through bigpond server at home. Not able to view it on my phone through telstra using Google Chrome.
Not sure if that matters or makes a difference.

Cheers Daz

I am looking to replace my old HPI R40 and I am looking at the MTX5 and the new HB R10. Can anyone provide an opinion of these two cars?

I know that the MTX5 is an older car and it may be updated soon. Is it difficult to get MTX5 parts? HB parts should be fairly easy to get. I’ve read about spur stripping issues with the MTX5 that can be remediated with a side brace. Anything else I should know about either car?

Thanks.

I've been using my R10 for about 12 months now. It handles really well and is a good tough car, i've never had the arms break. One major thing with the R10 is that the hole for the flywheel in the chassis is too small. The Mugen Pro Starter Box works well, but u have to have it set just right for it to work. Would be good to hear of someone else running an R10 on here though
