Best of luck to Jeff, and I wish all of you misguided Mugen fans a Merry Christmas.
Kindest regards,

I managed to go thru the car and identify the broken bits. So all up ordered everything via rcmarket which totalled to $180 + shipping (chassis, topdeck, fueltank, 1 x front alloy bulkhead and front bumper assembly) to get the chassis back in as new. So it wasn't as bad as I expected. Just need a motor and pipe on top of that as well.

either that, or the ugly yellow bodies you always run tried to commit suicide from the embarrasment they felt from looking so plain and ugly!
PS: Chickentrader, stop hounding our thread! ...it's bad enough i look at the cap thread and thing "damn, i really like that car!"

dpes anyone have a link to an aftermarket manufacturer of brake pads for the MTX5? i find mine to not have enough bite even with maximum movement of the servo horn. Because i have to dial my radio up so high i find the rear pod of the chassis bends a lot.
even when i push the brake level with my hand, i can still turn the pulley from the belt side...not enough bite
PS: i just found these brake pads on the pro shop futaba site, deos anyone know if they have more bite than the standard pads?
