The OS is a bolt in...I think the turbo is only avail in a pilot(SG) version..so thats good....if you go for the regular version(TR),make sure you get the SG shaft too...

Be sure that both surfaces are both smooth and free of any dirt or grime. I have had no problems with mine. I just use the stock O.S. gasket.
Hope this helps.

I have the O.S. .12 TR , I cant seem to find the Low End Needle. Is it the same as the fuel control?

Also, another trick a fellow racer gave me was to drill extra holes and use a second spring. It keeps the header up to the engine better and that should help your leaking problem.

I just did the nylon tape thing. Hopefully it does some good to my car. Or else 20 mins wasted.

Hey FastHarry,
I got my gearbox sorted out. A real simple solution that had nothing to do with the springs.
I overlooked the center set screw tension to the hub. I didnt have it tight enough and the shoes where actually engaging and slipping over the center hub.
Works great now.

As for the leaking problem, I'm just using an GS gasket and it seems to work fine. I haven't had any major leaking problems with my TR. Occassionally a little excess, but fore the most part its super clean.

the shaft is an asociated shaft the drive cup is sold by it self
i just rechecked my gear mesh and it is fine. ive put this car
through 4 races where the main was 40 mins long and it
has held up. the only problem being my toe link in the rear
got pushed in. that is why i put a linkage colar in the rear to
help with that problem. it has been reliable since.
