That's a little to wide for me.

ha ha ha ha... that was what I was thinking when I measured it last night.
Even with the Mugen Rear Upright, the rear width is over 200mm.

definitely some trimming job is needed to get the correct length or like Atomic said, use the shorter front wheel axle. With the front wheel axle, you will be a bit over 200mm without any trimming.

Got some RRR front hubs / rear hubs / rear arms to fit this weekend and test.
It would have been done a few days ago but I've had PC problems this week, The monitor finally gave in then I managed to snap off the sound output socket from the sound card.
PC back running again with sound and LCD monitor, so now to spend time on the 05.

Ron,
If worse comes to worse I have the front end conversion on my car. I can't make it to Nats anymore due to a big work project I have to work on. So, my car will be unused. I've only ran it twice this summer and the Kawahara front end parts have not suffered any crashes.
Enough folks in Toledo know how to reach me (including Josh) so if you find you need it give me a call and you can use it. I live about 40 minutes away from the track.

Another new guy question!
Hey guys!
So i keep reading about this Kawahara parts and such. I am assuming these are the best hop-up parts for the FW-05. If so, which do you recommend. Mine arrives Monday and I would like to order stuff for the car by Saturday.
Any suggestions send them my way...

Been looking for these gears and they only come up on the web for the Tamiya.

The 37T gears are a must.

Thanks
Thanks for that. I couldn't find them. I was thinking of getting the tront stay and the rear stay along with front and rear shock mounts (FW05-004 and FW05-022). Worth the cost?
