Sorry, I just saw it in a hobby shop in HK and picked it up. It's part number VZ116-28. I don't know where you can get it online but you can try and ask your LHS to order for you.

tuned pipe?

to fw05 gurus,

which is the better choice, the 5.2mm tuned pipe that comes with the VSW008 or the polished 6.0mm ones VSW033?

would appreciate if state the pros and cons of each. at the moment these are the options available to me.

no guru here, but have experience with both. the 5.2 has tons of low end with decent top end while the 6.0 has more top end but less low end. there is also a 7.0 that is suppose to give you even more top end. i like the 6.0 as it offers a good compromise but some places have rules on the size of pipe you can use.

Had the car running yesterday with the JP FX engine. I was at a very fast track and managed to get decent lap times.

They improved even more when I figured out i never had first gear!. Just shows the torque this engine has and how free the car is

Cheers

no CVDs

Standard = 31581A (rubber) or 31581B (foam)
Hopped up = 31582 (foam with one way, carbon upper deck, and shimo chassis).

You will then need as a minimum

Bearings for the servo saver
Centre conversion (I think its a must have!)
Delrin pivot ball cups
Get the hardened pinion gears when the kit ones wear out (very quick!)

Cheers

The centre conversion is a set of front and rear steel machined bevel gears. The kit is 40T bevel with 13T crown gear. the conversion is front 45/17 rear 46/17.

It changes the drive ratio so that the highest kit gears 45/27 now is equal to the lowest 46/25 and gives you front overdrive for stability.

New drive shafts and end caps are included. you will need to drill a small hole in your dif case, no big deal

Cheers
