1g or 0g is considered as gain automatically when moving locations on hole position placement

Can someone help me understand what does 0G or 1G means when setting camber angle.
You can adjust camber at 1G, so with the car standing on the setup board with wheels or setup system mounted...or at 0G with the car lifted with the setup blocks you normally use to adjust droop.

1G adjusts resulting camber when the car is on the track
0G adjusts min. camber...the resulting camber on the track is given by the ride height.

Thanks Martin,
I found a "how to read data sheet" from Kyosho in which it states under Camber Angle the following:
Front: Value of standard chassis height is 0G, and the value of lowered chassis hight is 1G. 0G range = 0 to 1, 1G range = 1 to 2
Rear: Value of standard chassis height is 0G, and the value of lowered chassis hight is 1G. 0G range = 0 to 2, 1G range = 1.5 to 4

Still confusing to me, how do you interpret does numbers??

Hi I recently bought the new C spec spur gears, and the Evolva 2 speed shoes, and it seems to drag really badly when fitted.

The two speed shoes are clamped as tightly closed as they can get, so its not an adjustment issue.

Smacks of poor quality to me..

Is it ok to run?

Would the 2 speed free up after a few short runs?

Better to trim it with sandpaper or so as your 2-speed will shift very bad if you leave it as ist is.
Also do not forget to remove the material around the small set screws that adjust the 2-speed shoes distance.

Regards...MARTIN

You did change the 2-speed adapter as well didnt you? The RRR and the M3 adapter are not the same shape.

Well the Evolva M3 shoes look identical to the standard RRR-WC shoes, apart from the fact they seemed to bind even more!

So in the end I went with the original 2 speed shoes that came with the original car, and they still bind a little bit.

What exactly is the difference between the 2 Speed adaptors then ?

They look identical to me!

The thing is that I am using a titanium 2 speed adaptor, and would rather stick with that than use the heavier Evolva one...

I shall run a bit of sand paper over the parts.

Oh one other thing.. I noticed that the springs on the Evolva 2 speed seemed to be much stiffer that the standard RRR-WC 2 speed springs... Which is another reason I went back to the older 2 speed shoes.

I hope you guys can shed some light on the differences between these parts.

Many thanks.

The internal area is shaped differently. I used a titanium adapter until I switched over to the M3 2sp as well.

I have compared them side by side and the adapters are different.

hi,

what would be the difference in having the roll center at A, B, or C? they would still be at the same angel wouldnt it? just would be a different camber setting?

the end result should be the same camber setting because you set it back to say 4 degrees, the shorter the link the more camber gain you get.

ah ok, so same roll centre, different camber gain.

what setting does everyone use? furthest out? middle? or furthest in.

edit; so what iv been reading, the more camber gain the more grip.
