Hey are you guys going to use the softer bevel gears or the more expensive steel ones. Currently I'm running in a intro class and limited to 1 hp motors- Os tg. So I'm thinking with the less power the exploding diffs won't be a problem.
P.s Cheers ninja for the parts let me know how you go.

The diffs are only an issue if you don't know how to build a diff, there is some excessive tollerences that you have to shim out but just build them to the right feel and you are away laughing.

I was wondering if anyone can help out. I bought a used Shimo roller. It didn't come with the clutch assembly. Not even a motor mount. Does anyone have the whole clutch assembly with the clutchbell, flywheel? Somethhing so I can ran my car. I'm in Northern California. Email me at [email protected]

Hi guys,
A quick question on modding the diff.
What improvement on the car will be achieved?
I'm happy on the standard diffs on my old trusted RRR WC TE version and would like to know what effect will it have on driving the car, assuming that all other setup parameters remain the same.

a reduction of 35-40gr i do not remember very well.better acceleration and lower weight overall.but a lot of money to make them work flawless!

I wouldn't even waste my time moddingthe rrr with the r4 diffs!! A fellow racer of mine has broken something in his diff almost every outing with that p.o.s r4........just leave the rrr as is bulletproof......he switched to xray lol!! Much happier

R4 Revenge
that p.o.s as you claim has conquered the Japan National Championship with Takaaki Shimo .......... The SP version of the car Rocks

Shimo has been the Japanese king for a long time, he's simply the best there, the car didn't win the nats, his driving did, n I'm sure he could generate similar results with the RRR!! N shimos car is almost never whats being sold to the public!! I'm baseing my conclusions from fast normal guys that r using that car, not immortal guys who never make a mistake n run one off parts! They could finish a race with a car that's alot less strong, (no mistakes) give us that same car n it will be broken inside of 20mins promise you......

Don't base ur conclusions on what a pro can do with a car, it's not same, find "normal" fast guys n see what they say......1st they'll b honest cause the company doesn't pay them, 2nd they will hit something everynow n then lol....3rd its n stock form!!! And at the moment In stock form in normal hands the car is not up to the task! I believe kyosho will get it right with shimos help......
