Not to disagree with Sam, but if you look on your manual page #35 Spare Parts(2), it lists the Tire Shore as 35. Also, if you compare an earlier "Setting Data sheet" to the Japanese sheet, the nomenclature can be translated, and it too says 35 Shore.
Hope this helps.

wouldn't that make it a 4d clutch?
I'm about 3/4 through building my evo.2. The only special thing I've had to do is to lightly sand the joins of the 2 speed shoes as the edge was catching on the 2nd gear housing. I also had to try a couple of times to seat the 1st gear properly on its housing, it's not 100% true now (think the gear itself is a little warped) but it was noticably wonky after the first attempt
I'm keen to see how this thing goes on the track, that'll have to wait till next month though

The EVO 2 has the same issue as the EVO. I ran a diff for the regionals and the bellcrank touched the diff a little. I was going to pull it off (I'm not big on things rubbing, well in R/C i mean) but Renato took a dremel and fixed it. After that I didn't like the feel of a diff and took it off anyway.

Evo 2
I to assembled my Evo 2 with a front diff but it wasn't the bell crank hitting it was the turn buckle ends that snap onto the ballends on the bell crank that were hitting. I took an exacto blade and trimmed them back just a bit and problem solved. Haven't put the car on the track yet but hoping to do so soon. Expecting rain here in Texas for the next few days so next week at the earliest. Decided to go with a diff instead of the oneway because our local track is short and very technical. Need the diff for some extereme braking from time to time.

- Unis front and rear
- Rear adjustable sway bar
- Alloy hex hubs with captured pins
- CF front damper stay
- Rubber belts all round
And I'll be getting the spool and app brake pads this week, and some bearings for the servo saver

They were running the old car, not enough time to test the new car apparently. As for parts I went with
- Unis front and rear
- Rear adjustable sway bar
- Alloy hex hubs with captured pins
- CF front damper stay
- Rubber belts all round
And I'll be getting the spool and app brake pads this week, and some bearings for the servo saver

I've read Kyosho CVDs are better than other brands.
