Whats the difference between shores on 1/8 road cars and what size axles do they fit sorry for noob questions ive made a drag car out of an old TAgt10 and hpi rs4 and need rims and tires that look like drag car tires and actualy get traction

1/8 scale foams are made for 12mm axles, have a starting diameter of about 78/79mm (rear tire) and the shores is giving the softness.

could you give me a measurement from the hex to the inside of the tire?
and maybe the total width of the tire..

1/8th scale wheels don't have an inside hex. They ride on a pin on the inside and a lever snaps them in on the outside. They are completely incompatible with a 1/10th scale without major modifications.

You might think a wider tire will give you better traction, but not always. You won't do very well with a 1/8th tire on either of those cars. The weight and the size of the tire will slow down your acceleration unless you are packing a lot of extra horsepower (a .12 engine doesn't have the hp to overcome this). You are better off lightening your car and using 30mm rear touring car tires.

thanks for the replys guess ill have to stick w/ what i have unless i can find those adapters. Just using old wore out hole shot tires now they get fairly good traction just not enough to pull the front wheels up.Not trying to race this thing just want to be able to pull a wheelie for a little while maybe i just need a bigger engine that will pullit up once its going!!!again thanks for the replys

You can try somthing like this. I think you'll need those wolfpack radical converters to run them though.

edit, I just looked again and it looks like and 1/8 scale tire with a large offset.
