gt4 rtr2 or v one s?...
which is better to start with? can these cars still hang with the big boys? or should i just get a pro kit like mtx3 or gt4s? is the mtx3 too hard to build? i built an electric tc3 b4 but thats it...

Tech Adept
hmm...first look at parts availability, the gt4s is the best bang for the buck but ive heard its kinda fragile,mtx3 is what i have so you know what im going to say.mtx3 is fairly easy to build but you MUST follow all the directions exactly if you dont youll end up back to square one.are you going to race or bash?gt4 rtr is a very fast car to start with but youll spend alot on buying hopups.on the other had if your going to race get a race kit....preferably the mtx3,ntc3,voner,serpent 705..etc.but it all depends on how fast can you get spare parts and such and are you going to race or bash(meaning just mess around)hope this helps ya out.peace

most drive ntc3... but i dont really want an ntc3

i dunno if i want an rtr or not... if i get an rtr, i will be able to run the car rite away, but if i get a kit, it will take longer since i gotta buy each part seperately like radio servos etc.., ahhh dis is killin me wat do u all think? where did u guys start?

I have a V-OneS its my first car IMO its a great first car, extremely durable and fairly fast out of the box. Only prob is on rough surfaces a lot of stones get caught in the belts, but I guess you would get that with any belt driven car. It can hang with the big boys if you are willing to spend the money too

id go the V-one S
ive heard that the GT4 RTR is over geared and has alot of overheating problems.
I am a v-one S owner my self and i love this car... it constantly amazes me with its strength, handling and speed. One thing to consider is the part availability in your area and what you want to use it for.
Also if you buy a MTX 3 or any other full blown racing car you also need to buy engine, manifold, pipe etc
hope this helps
