Thank you for the kind words regarding my 3 vehicles , I am proud of them and especially proud that they will never be shelf queens but will ALWAYS be running vehicles. My next project , if I ever find one , is a TAURUS chassis car . I've been searching for some time now and have yet to come up with anything.I have seen the rcretro.com site and it is very impressive !

Default Pb 6/7 Restoration

Hi All
I have just been loking at the great photos of the Pb9.
I have just rebuilt my old Pb6/7/Phil greeno race replica As you may guess from the title it is a mixture of parts but the ops 3.5 car speed still starts and will strip the drive gear at the drop of a hat, if opened up too fast.
A word of warning do not run without a body and rear wing there is no grip compared to what we run today. This car does not have a diff in it just a solid rear axle.
My other car has got the diff in it but needs a lot of work to get it back to life full time.

Congatulations on joining the vintage 1/8 fraternity ! I consider the folks into this segment of the hobby the keepers of the history of r/c , after all 1/8 nitro on road cars is where it all began . How about posting some pics of your car , if possible !

Default RC 500

Hello,
I wanted to share some pics of my cars. In the late 80's I bought an RC500 from Tower Hobbies. This was a 2wd car with many updates from Associated. I assembled the kit and ran it often in local parking lots with a friend of mine who had an RC300BD. Iv'e really enjoyed this car and can only imagine what fun it must be to actually race. My other car I found on e-bay a few years ago and it was in really rough shape until I restored it. Thanks,
Dave S.

I have been working on restoring a PB9 of my own, not quite up to Cabbie's standard but enjoyable non the less. I have been writing about it on my website eighthrchistoricmodelcars
