Hey guys, I'm from europe and I wanted to know which tyres are you using?
And which rules do you have about them?
I'm sure it has been already written but I'm new here and there are a lot of pages to check.

Tires.. GRP is propably the most common choice in Europe

Ipanema/Sintec, that is very popular in the U.S., can be bought in EU from here http://www.jp-nitroracing.com/tyres-...-32_41_86.html

Mika, are you buying GRP tires unmounted and glueing to Kyosho rims? Can you give me the GRP part #s, someone in the states was selling them at one point but I lost track of them. I would like to glue some up on Kyosho rims also.

They seem to only be available with dish wheels in the US (not in the cards for future ROAR rules, they want wheels that look like actual car wheels). A friend of mine from the west coast uses them and likes them very much!

They are available from here:

Here in Mexico we use a lot the PMT we love them

we have tried several brands like Ipenema, Alpha, GRP, Ofna, Louise, Twister and many more.

All of them perform good and depend on the drivers skills

When I have to use GRP tyre (it's our race spec tyre) I buy them premounted.

I wish AKA would start producing GT tyres, too

So why did you ask then, after all

I've seen PMT around but I don't know why it never got so popular over here...

PMT may redesign a newer multispoke wheel, until then, dish only. So what do you have on the car with the grey multi spoke wheels? Never mind, I looked at your web link..

PMT's are a fantastic tyre. They hold up really well and last a long time. They are the dominant tyre on 1/5 scales.. so if they can take the weight and pressure of those cars, they're just as suitable for GT cars.

Only thing I don't like is the rim. The dish rim is hideous. For some reason they stopped making the spoked rims.

Well guys, just received couple pics of the new ALPHA RC Wheels, factory used to have only dish wheels, but due to popular demand they made this spoke ones ... for now only white will be available, and will go up to 3 or 4 colors by end of year ...

For US drivers, Alpha RC would like to let you know that there is a strong candidate for USA Distribution just on the door ... so will have news soon ...

Here the pics, mounted on Kyosho Cars during the weekend test sessions in Brazil :
