No disrespect intended, just have a real problem with the whole "Licenced body" threat. This is an industry where some people still make bodies by hand. To cut them out is not good for our industry or the GT racer.

I know man ... and as Ipanema Sports "started" this class promotion, im giving my opinion here.

I mean, i would love to see a unique rulebook in the future, so we dont have to think into "prepare" specially our cars for certain events or not.

BTW, when we will have your new GT body available to buy ?

thanks !

I totaly agree that the bodies that we are using right now are the way to go. Ipanema and Protoform have great looking bodies and they have been the only option for us, outside of the Kyosho and OFNA ones. The Ipanema and the Protoform look like cars one can see driving in the street as well as the Kyosho and the OFNA bodies.

The cool looking bodies draw the most attention where I normally race. Spectators like the size and the look of the cars and thats a selling point of the class as well as the price of racing these cars.

For now I'm running the stock engine, but I have a few choices as to what I'll stuff in there next. There's a shiny new JP Novarossi engine that I've been thinking about putting in there, but I've been too busy with work to stuff it in there. It's warming up quite well, so I'm going to see if there's a club here in Orange County or Northern San Diego County that runs them on a regular basis. Perhaps we can both look for a permanent track, because I could use a little more practice myself.
Steve, JP Nova .. that's a nice missile you got there. I have a Nova 359 that resides in mine. I picked it up while I was in Italy for peanuts. I was not able to find a fair ticket price for Miami event, although I'm thinking of heading to Vegas, have to check my work schedule.

Here are a few more shots! The action shots are from the B Main in the Open class.

Here I am getting everything I needed for the B Main in Open GT1 class!

Some of the Mexican team (Yellow shirts), great new friends that we met at the race.

Here is the Puerto Rico Team for the race. We hope to be in the next World Champinship and get to race with such great people again.
