I've got so much carbon fiber i'm a little worried I don't weigh in, i'm glad I got the 4mm for that reason alone, let alone the durability, I think that is a total personal preferance, I know some people that like 1//8 scale off road buggies with solid chassis braces and some that have plastic ball ends for flex, I like my chassis stiff as a board and let the suspension do the work.

bballer: i am currently using the 3 racing 4mm chassis, it is working fine, stiff but really heavy. given a chance, i would get the 3mm of kfactory for a lighter weight. oh well, the G4 is lighter than the rest so who cares bout the weight haha!

I upgraded my e-class straight out of the box with all k-factory parts, bought them off ebay which is getting a few more g4 k-factory parts these days with the revived interest in the mongoose...

Team magic make the diff, its basically the same as the rear diff with a different cap and the pulley off your oneway, the kyosho v one r front diff will also fit.
Tyres, i run ing tyres with echo medium thick inserts and ing rim, or takeoff CS tyres with same insert, and standard size 24mm rim.
always same compound front and rear.

Default 3 racing rear shock tower

Building a new EVO and installed a 3 Racing rear shock tower with the aluminum stiffener. It does not snug up against the diff bearings as well as I think it should, it leaves a little bit of play...maybe 1mm up and down. Is that OK?

Hitek, can you post a picture of it??? It might not be a problem, but with out seeing it... It's kinda hard to say.. Anyone else using the 3 racing rear shock tower and stiffner??? Same problems??? I know most are just using the K-factory rear shock tower and stiffner... No problems using K-factory.

alan I will get the crew on the new gearsets. On another note I will be moving any discussion with regards to the RD Mongoose to that thread. I heard the new boxing was done and in.
