Hotel: http://www.super8.com/Super8/control...e_nostay=false

This one sugguestion, but the price is the best I have seen...

Airport: Houstion Internation Airport looks to be around 10 to 15 south of the track and 5 to 10 miles south of the hotel...

Houston is the city you are looking for, on the north to northeast side...

Hope this helps...

Flying from Las Vegas. Used Orbitz to find a car from Budget. The car we got is a Standard SUV (ford explorer) It was about $330 for 5 days. Pathetic thing is the car rental is only $230 all the taxes and BS fees came to another $100. My travel partner will be getting the room. We usually stay at a place called excutive suites. Only about 5-7 mins from the track.

2 routes from Bush Airport to the track.
1- exit airport straight to hwy59, go north, exit Northpark Dr. Stay on service rd heading north for a lil less than 1/4 mile past Northpark. make right on E. Knox Rd. track will be on right.
2-exit airport and make left on Lee Rd. go about 3/4 mile to FM1960,make right. go to hwy 59 north and follow same directions as #1.
I don't race on-road but look forward to watching this race. If you have any questions, please ask. here is some hotels that are really close to the track.

Here is how it works:

The top 8 guys qualify into the Final. (A-main).

Then they take all the remaining people and split them into the odd qualifiers and evens. Qualifier 9,11,13,15 etc all the way down the line. Same thing with the even numbered qualifier... 10,12,14,16.... etc.

The top ten guys with odd numbers go into the 1/2 odd main. This is the guys that qualified 9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25,27.
The top ten guys with even number go into the 1/2 even main. These are the guys that qualified 10,12,14,16,18,20,22,24,26,28

The next 10 with odd numbers go into the 1/4 odd main. These are the guys that qualified 29,31,33,35,37,39,41,43,45,47.
The next 10 with even numbers go into the 1/4 even main. These are the guys that qualified 30,32,34,36,38,40,42,44,46,48.

The next 10 odd guys qualify into the 1/8th odd main.
The next 10 even guys qualify into the 1/8th even main.

And so on and so on until everybody is in their main. The very bottom main (probably a 1/32 or a 1/64 main) will run. The top two guys bump up. If it was the 1/32 even then they will bump to the 1/16th even. Odds bump to odds, evens bump to evens. When you finally get to the 1/2 main. The top two guys from both the odd and the even main bump to the final. That is why 8 guys will qualify into the final, and a total of 4 bump up into the final...(2 from each 1/2 main)

Mikes will have K Factory tires for those needing them at the race.
TM G4s drivers.........if your going to need parts while there, ask Jeff to get them in for you.
He may have them on stock by then anyway, but better to ask before time.

The nice thing about ladder mains is that if you are in race #2 and you bump up, you don't have to marshall, and your next race will be race #4. So you have a race to go and wrench on your stuff.

Apparently "Bush Intercontinental" is only 15 mins from the track. I hope this helps Rob. I don't know if you can get direct flight there. Just been told myself.
