get the 43/47 gearing with 18/22 pinions. Also get hex nuts for the car. Titanium turnbuckes are a sure bet. I had my car crash dozens of times and the tie rod just jumped out the car but never broke.

Otherwise hop ups are a waste of time, those things i mentioned will get your car moving better.

Get a failsafe for the car, if the throttle servo dies you're screwed but if there is any radio inteference or somebody is on your channel or receiver is too low on power the fail safe will save your car.

Thanks, I'm only really interested in racing and if its only cosmetic, I'll save the money.

edseb, learn your car. The RR can still hang with the best if it's set up right and you improve on driving skills.

And then, if you don't mind spending some cash, I would get the V-One RR Evo conversion kit for your RR. It was a complete plus in all around proformance and transformation.

the biggest improvement you can do to the car is putting the mugan rear up rights on the car, if your running foams, it's the way to go.

Guint1: you got PM too.
You should put 3R rear hub, that way you don't have to buy mtx3 drive shaft, bearing, pivot balls and other small parts. Kyosho 3R rear hub will be direct replacement and cheap too, about 5 dollars or less for a pair of rear hub. I know it's pointless to order just single parts from oversea, ask around someone might get it for you with their orders.
