oh the treaded tires were mounted on my all time favorite rims, the Traxxas 4tec rim, I am just using it for photo shoots, didnt run tread tires on one side and slick on the other.

But I have seen ppl in LHS track runing slicks and tread tires, the person doing that was one of the fastest guy on the track, last time I saw him using treaded tire on right rear and the rest are slicks, on that particular track has a lot more right turns than left. He must have wanna some different characteristic from treaded tire with the combo of slicks. I will ask him next time when I see it!

Leet

Castle Hobbies in San Jose will have the adjustable diff soon. I talk to the Kawahara importer last week about it. Externally adjustable, slipper plates, low maintainence.

W Fox,

The diff is not adjustable !! the hole outside the diff housing is for the purpose of injecting cleansing agent into the clutch for cleaning purpose. There is not slipper plates inside but a clutch.
