Towards the flywheel, damned.
Why do people always have to make simple things complicated?

Hi,
Many, many, many thanks for the info.
I apologize for my comment about the carb. If I had opened my eyes I would have seen the carb inlet is in the same direction as the flywheel/clutchbell!
Now . . . can you confirm what way the hole goes . . . . . (ONLY KIDDING!!!)
I've put the MT12 back together & have ran a tank of fuel through the engine, everything seems fine.
All the best

We're all talking about the same direction. Facing front = facing carb = facing flywheel = facing direction of crank intake = facing clutchbell
Ok how about this. When you look inside the engine from the back cover, you DO NOT see the oil hole.

dtm for you your oil hole needs to be on the side. If you don't have one, drill a big one.
So you and Manticore like the storm that just blew by you in HK?
