Yes. It was the spool/ oneway as supplied in the G4s kit.
TM does make the lightweight spool and a lightweight one-way.
These are a huge saving on weight, just where you need it too.......rotational mass!!

K1409 ---- Lightweight front one-way
K1477T --- Lightweight front solid axle

These both need front pulleys to be fitted to them.

K1460 ---- 32t for stock transmission
K14122-9 ---- 30t for ED transmission

Use the duel spool/ one-way to find out which works or you like on the track, then fit the specific lightweight axle to cut down the rotational mass and overaul car weight.

front +2/rear -2... Maybe it is 2mm spacers at the rear of the front lower arm and 2mm spacers at the back of the rear lower arms as well?? That would be assuming that the center of the car is the point of reference and then "front +2" means center position +2 mm out to the front??? Would the rear be center position and then moving the rear lower arm 2mm to the front of the car??

Also, is it true Dario did not use the speedshot front bulkhead? I just heard a rumour... Maybe he was saving weight?
From the setup sheet, seems like Dario used the old style rear uprights rather than the newer ones that use aluminum spacers to adjust roll centers...

I do not understand the note on shock pistons...
(1std 1 1.2 mm) I assume it means standard shock piston, 1.2mm holes, but what does the "1" in the middle refer to?? I do not think this is meant to be read "1 standard piston and 1 piston with 1.2mm holes, right??

That looks like very little rear toe-in, doesn´t it?? I realize traction must have been high, but it is still a little surprising!! Obviously it worked!!

It does not list anything on rear camber... or front for that matter...

Thanks!!!

this is dario's G4+ after A-main final.

daris used speed front bulk shot.(not aluminum.. But plastic bulk cover)

i quess dario shock piston was 1.0 + 1.2 two hole.. (unbalanced piston setup?)

and.. maybe front wheel base +2 mean normal wheel base of G4S

and rear wheel base was 2mm smaller than G4S.

and i heard from Dario that he always used rear toe-in more than 2.

But he used 1.5 in Euro.. very interesting!!

Darren Johnson and G4+ Finishes in Winning Style

The Final round of the 2007 BRCA 200mm Touring championship took place at the Aldershot circuit, This demanding circuit usually results in some close racing and didn't disappoint.

Saturday practise was run in good conditions, and with the timing computer running, everyone could check the pace of the fastest runners. The usual suspects were all fast, with local drivers Darren Johnson and Stephen Brown at the to of the list.

After qualifying, Darren Johnson took TQ, from Kyle Branson, Ben Cosgrove and Stephen Brown. Darren's time finally managed to beat Mark Green's, very impressive previous track record, as well as 12 second laps for the first time. Darren's new track record of 23 laps in 305.03 left him over five seconds clear of second!

I have an oppurtunity to get a G4S for quite cheap. Is it worth it? Many of the guys locally are racing Xrays and Mugens. I wanted to be a little different plus the deal I am getting is pretty sweet.

Thanks
