Where's the Vegas setups? I'm still trying to find a little more steering and would love to see if there have been any changes with this many M cars at one race.

We (Brad, Scotty, Josh, Brett, Arno, myself) all ran slightly different setups, but all our cars worked well. I would say Josh's car was on one extreme of the setup scale and either my car or Brad's car on the other. My setup was almost exactly the same as this one http://www.motonica-usa.com/Support/P80RWCC08.jpg with the exception of the body (parma r11 instead of dome), engine (cordoba instead of 359) and clutch flyweights (I used the new yellow flyweights instead of making my own out of a clutch shoe). My setup is considerably more aggressive than Josh's for example. I think both Scotty's and Brad's setups are similar to mine, except I know Scotty uses a Blitz body, I think he uses Jaco tires, and I am pretty sure they both ran the YBSLOW axles with the offset.
I'll try to get Josh's setup and post it here after the RAMS race.

If you need just a touch more steering (rotation), try running an 8mm tire split front to rear instead of 7mm.

Does anyone run a softer front to keep a more even split?

When I ran the car basically stock I used 35 front 37 rear quite a bit. When running 2mm scrub in the front I run 37's front and back almost all the tme witha 7mm split.

At the Motonica GP, I did not change tires in the 60 minute main. I started with an 8mm split and finished with an 8mm split, granted the left side tires were smaller than the rights. The car is very consistent and based on the tire wear, pretty balanced.

I also didnot change tires and ran a 7mm split with 37 jaco rubber. My car was abit diff than Garens with the YB slow weights in the front and ofset axels aswell.

the wheel/tire is offset on the axle. this location of the tire relative to the steering axis is also referred to as 'scrub', and is usually documented by the thickness of shim behind the drivepin.

If I am not mistaken, from softest to hardest:

13-018/019- Grey, Extra Soft (new spring, replaces previous part number)
13-020/021- White, Soft (stock spring in 08 kit)
13-014/015- Black, Medium (stock spring in 07 kit)
13-016/017- Silver, Firm
old 13-018/019- Gold, Extra Firm (discontinued)

Wow - one more adjustment just when I thought I had things figured out.

So you keep the same track width using the pivot ball adjustment?
