That was with the 47t spur gear. I gave Don a 46T spur and he said he would advance the timing a little for more top end/less bottom end. Also, the front of the body was cut too low so it would drag entering the corners. With these 3 adjustments, the car will be a lot quicker all around. Otherwise I have to admit it was very easy and fun to drive.
Kosta, I have P81e kits coming, should be here next week. Conversion kits are not in this shipment, but they will be in the next one.

Garen, does the P81e complete kits come with anything from the P81 pro? or it's simply a standard P81 converted? Trying to figure out what is most cost effective.

Thanks!

As far as I know it is the same as the standard P81 but electric. The front and rear assemblies as well as the chassis (I think) are identical to the nitro version, only the radio tray (and everything attached to it) along with the engine mounts, and single speed, are different.

Default P81

Ok guys, my first official test and tune day with this car. I broke the motor in while also trying to get a club race in. Ran about 4 tanks in practice, kept tighening the clutch and the two speed all day. This is one of my qualifyers, motors fat, clutch is light and 2 speed is engaging way to soon. But overall the car was running very well, never changed a thing. Hope you enjoy it. Im the orange car...Kurly

Kodak- congrats on your first win and TQ. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the car.

As for me, I raced at the RAMS club in San Jose this past weekend. I placed 2nd. My car was ok, I was a bit off of the pace, and I forgot to change my radio battery before the main, so about 6 minutes in, the radio went dead. Luckily I had my radio case on the driver's stand and in it was my backup radio pack, so I only lost a little over a lap changing the battery.

Don, thank you, but it's back to back 1st and 2nd. Let me know if you plan to bring your E car to the next club race.

Frode, check your email.
