The Big Red Bus is back in Florida!

This was my second GLC event. Again I had a blast at this event. The track was awesome and the entire Ohio crew was very friendly and did an excellent job. There is nothing you can do about Mother Nature.

I also need to thank all my fellow Florida racers for an fun an exciting week: Art (Master Yoda) Carbonnell, Joe Sumasky, Chris (My adopted Son) Lebevre, Jim Sowa, Jim Rice, Julian Hope, Gary Tuttle, Ruel Ellis, Paolo Morganti, Rafael Angulo and Gianni Giorgio.

See most of you again in February at the Winternats. If not see you next year!

Thanks to Chicky & Brian for all of their help! Also, thank
you to the entire Toledo Club for hosting such a great event.
The track was Awesome, the best I've been on in a long time. The competition was great and the track was smooth!
Will definately see you again next year!

Wish we didn't have the rain, however I got 3 perfect days
on a perfect track prior to the rain..... still worth every bit of it!

Nitrohead, had a blast hanging with ya too!

Take care!

Terry Brown

Terry, it was nice to meet you. I sat next to you. Hope you can make it out to 301 some time. I would have loved to run the main because we where all so close, it would have been fun. Mike Keely

What an amazing group of people gathered at this years GLC!
I would like to thank you all for being gentlemen as usual. The GLC is
on my 'to do list' forever thanks to you guys! (I even won a nice servo)
Some people missing this year were Rich Browne & Mark Blackketter.
Hope you guys make it next year, I have to say I missed you old farts... JOKING!
You guys are the masters IMHO the best in the biz.

Looking forward to seeing you all @ the I95 SHOWDOWN @ 301 RACEWAY!
September 15th & 16th 2007.

The track is FRIGGIN OFF THE CHIZZAIN, just like Toledo!!!

Note:
BRING YOUR BIG GEARING, EXTRA ENGINES AND ALOT OF TURN AND BURN! The locals are fast and the owner is too. For those that have not had the pleasure of going yet. It's a World Class Facilty with World's Class Race Direction. A well stocked Hobby shop! C-Whits Hobby Shop carries the best of the best!!! You will not be dissapointed.

Chavo

Roger E. and myself along with the whole One-Eighth Racers club would like to thank everyone who came out to race at this years GLC. I hope it was worth your time.

Thanks go out to our Sponsors of the event that help us put on a good show and have those nice raffle prizes on Sunday.

This is the second year, Kyosho has steps up to be the presenting sponsor.
Major sponsorship is given by Molzer Mowery Racing, Byron Fuel, Futaba, Nova Rossi and R/C Car Magazine. A GLC artical should appear in R/ C Car by the end of the year.

Our other fine sponsors that help out with Raffle items: Delta, Serpent USA, Starting Grid, Team Magic America, O'Donnell, Mugen Seiki, JR Racing, Dynamite, Parma, Fusion Motorsports, CEFX, OS Engines, Rocket Science XRAY, Max Engines, Empire Racing, Tornado Fuel, Brooklyn Hobbies, Jaco, RB Products, Werks Racing, PROTOform, Murnan Modified, KO Propo, Spektrum and Raceday Hobbies.

It takes alot of club member effort and a little extra to put on the GLC and still allow most of us to race. I hope I do not forget anyone.

Race Director - Roger E. Williams
Scoring - Bryan Young - Cincy Club
New & Pictures - Mike Myers S-Grid and R/C Car Magazine
Tech. area - Ted Flack, Dave Berry, Shawn Buchanan, David Lee, Dennis Richey, Ray Juhl, Mark Rodney, Tom Kelly and Jon Knitz.
Concours Sponsored by Faskolor - Jim Herrmann, Brian Berry and Aaron Buran
Top Speed run - Bill Klingbeil and Gene Greer
Track Maint. - Rick Frazier and Marvin Davis
Ground Clean up - David Greer, Scott Stubbins, Gene Greer
Monday Clean up - Gene Greer, Joe Tuttle, Lou Przybla and David Lee
T-shirts - Rick Frazier
Awards - Nathan Beucler, Jon Knitz and Jon Straustaugh
Web site - Brian Berry and Raye Field
Club signs - Dave Berry

That is a whole lot of people helping out and I hope that I did not forget anyone. Thanks to everyone
