Use the kit oil depending on driving style, put 80k in front and the 60k in the rear and the car will be more stable, and easier to drive. I run 80k in the rear and 60k in front which allows me to drive more aggressively with a more planted feel to the rear. I've used this on both low traction and high bite tracks. Try both it all comes down to personal preference

Sorry, I haven't test it. .....I intentionally missed that race due to bad weather prediction. So I went with my wife and kids to shopping mall on that day.
Nevertheless four NT1 drivers went into A final, and finish #2,4,6,7. #1 is still Teddy Syach, with Serpent 720. Xray international drivers Daniz24 got #2, Stanley #4, and Sadikin #7 ( sadly his car was broken ...... could be podium finish as usual ).
I heard from my friend, they were using 40K front, 20K rear ( Xray Silicone Oil ). They test 10K front and 20K rear, and the car become twicthy. The track is medium size with tight radius corners, but not hairpin type. The grip is excellent with very smooth asphalt.

Hello,
Where can I purchase the 2008 NT1 in the USA?
It seems that it is the same part number as the old kit, but I don't want to take my chances and end up with the version with the front dogbones.

I raced the car for the 2nd time this past weekend and things went really well. Haven't broken anything - despite slapping the side of the car hard up against the boards a few times and having a guy take me out going down the straight. I've pushed the car pretty hard and it has had it's share of tumbles, collisions and roof top slides - all without breaking anything. Just FYI, I have zero spare parts for this car. If I break something, that's it - but it hasn't stopped me from racing it hard.
Although I had some concerns with the gear mesh, it hasn't been an issue. Engine comes out and goes back in without giving the gear mesh a second thought. Very cool.
Once you've got the car setup right, it's incredibly easy to drive, as many have already said. The car is very agile with a narrow front trackwidth and it's easy to make minor corrections without losing control of the car. As with any other car, if you chunk your dominant rear tire, you're out of luck.
We only race once in December because of the holiday season and then we're back on our usual 2 race a month schedule in January. I'll probably have some time to do a full write-up on the car during the break. While the car performs great out on the track, there are some things that I perceive as issues in the pits. Unlike the magazines, I don't have to kiss-up to anyone to keep my advertising dollars, so I can be honest about my experience with the car.

This Car is the BEST!
I had my first run/race with it this past weekend, for a Interclub event. My car was awesome! I have been racing 8th scale the past year, but first real run in tourer, and I qualified 3rd for the A-Final. I was wrapped! In the final got off to a good start, running second, and I hit a small problem. The grub screw that holds the brake bracket onto the 2 speed came out, losing my brakes and rendering me to 2 wheel drive so I was forced to retire. Loc-tite next time!
All in all though, this xray is un-believable!!!!
Thanks MR.HUDY

Make sure you wear an aluminum hat the next time you race bro. Seems like the signals from your radio are affecting the side of your brain that takes care of spelling.
Didn't really want to say anything, but like they say, "Friends don't let friends misspell words."
