Seems like you need to use less clutch gap with the spring and motor combo you are using. the conical washers have more of a linear feel but they are super consistent. I'd say they are definitely worth a try , make sure you thread lock the whole clutch nut when using the washers. How much clutch gap did you set the unit up with?

still a little noob at this car setup thing but curious if there are setup changes i can do to the rear end to make front tires viable on the rear.
I was running 35f40r with good result, but the only rears i have left are 35 or 42. dont wanna order tires for one or two racedays that are left in the season for me.
some guys at my track run 35f38r but i found that quite pushy. would running front tires in the rear be viable or should i just suck it up and run the 42s?
edit;
track is 80-100ft parking lot with painted lines and some variation in surface. sprayed with sugar water.
car is setup mostly to kit. 50wt oils, 3 hole f/r light pink springs all around. 45ºblade front and 2mm rear bar. 5.5mm ride-height. downstops 1f6r
shocks in middle holes with 50% rebound.
I did raise the lower arm mounting position in the rear one tick up.

Just sauce your 42's with some paragon for about 1min...true tires 1st then put paragon in a dish of some sort at the right height to only contact about 3/4 of the 30mm rear tire, sit the tire in the dish outside of rim down....let soak for about 1min, store same way you dipped them, let sit out overnight then store in a ziplock bag till raceday......good to go

You have two options, either use sauce or buy the tires you need.
