The old Mugen clutch had decent power delivery but was pretty heavy, The new Mugen clutch needs work. And serpent clutch is good, but with the HD clutch for the NT1 it's hard to beat with a yellow or red shoe (red for high bite tracks yellow for less bite) It also weighs nothing, Best case you find a hard anodized clutch bell for the HD clutch (aluminum). But with that you risk more inconsistency in the clutch engagement. If your really jonesing for a different clutch check out the Capricorn RC clutch.

Im thinking about Mugen flyweel-pressure plate-centrifugal shoe, xray hard spring-red clutch shoe!
Must to be lighter than original, and more and more response on my hands!
Tell me your opinions plz!!

Thats what I want to do...
To borrow some things from mugen, add them in centax to renew it!!
Just to be lighter,

The shim size is 7mm id by 0.2mm, 0.3mm or 0.5mm thick (Depending on which one you end up using (xray flywheel cone I usually end up using 0.5)

I run my first race last Sunday with my new NT1 WC and I issue great glitching problems.Three times car lost signal the last one in the long straight..thank god only the front bumper was damaged.
I play with futaba 4PKS and KOPROPO RSX SERIES sevros...

Hi guys,

I just started racing a Xray NT1 and I'm loving it.

What upgrades to you guys suggest?

What parts should I keep handy in the tool box?

I remember reading some time back about some people that run the 4PKS had to leave the cap off of the receiver box because of excess heat build up.

Front knuckles. About the only thing I break on the regular.

Use the wide front bumper and you'll see the difference.

I haven't had any problems with my NT1 and Futaba 4PKS. However, I don't use the stock receiver box, if that makes a difference. I use the optional receiver bracket (xra336040).

I ended up upgrading my NT1 with most of the WC parts. If I had to do it again, I wouldn've got the WC edition up front. You'll definately want to consider purchasing the lightweight shafts, brass motor block, high dynamic cluch, hard clutch spring, hard gear box springs, etc.

As far as spare parts, definately purchase extra belts and spur gears. That's pretty much it. Nothing ever breaks on this car.

But, broke parts is all dependent upon how well you drive.
