thanks for the pm about the engine.

regarding the tensioner, get the km racing tensioner works great i have one. you can buy it online from km racing directly as well! they also have some nice alloy parts like the front layshaft block, and rear lower pin support block.

you can actually tighten the belt enough with the 25 tooth pulley? I tried it with the stock tensioner at max knowing it wouldn't be right, after breaking in my new engine I had three teeth missing, I was like FAIL lol. Know how I can get one by friday without international expedited shipping?

yeah it isn't just a copy of the xray belt tensioner, it actually has a larger swing so you can tighten the belt down alot more

BTW, I went away from my usual setup and tried some new things last weekend and the car was fast as hell even while breaking in the new engine.. Never thought I would use the light red 38.5 front spring but it worked pretty well sunday at CP, EASY to drive.. might run the light purple and try that.. Will post setup on Xray site later.

cheers

nah, went with something remotely similar. It was the same idea, a stiff as front spring to get the car to point. and overdrive so it pulls through the corner.. I usually use the 26 tooth pulley almost exclusively. went with the 25 tooth.. I have a couple changes to make, I was concentrating on my engine break in and didn't make any changes to the chassis..will set up the backup car with ft myers setup and throw it on the track during practice.. its actually a really technical layout compared to the last one.

Do you use the stock belt? dirty track? do you change them before they show wear? I have had as much as 4 hours on a rear belt before I decided to change it before it lost teeth.. tighten the eccentric one slot and that should help

cheers
