Wooo hooo! Money talks. Yep, haven't been to Sin City in a bit.... well ok.... spring, but it was not an r/c trip. We were goofing around on the strip for a few days, soaking it up by the pool. We went to the Silver Bowl track to check things out. I was shocked to see the development right behind the parking strip behind the track. I can see why INS Boxes are a must. I hate to spread doom and gloom... but we better be pretty good kids or the county could tug the rug from this program. I wandered over to the dirt track and found Temu and Saxton prepping for the Boulder City Race. Just seeing Temu at the 'Birds a few weeks eariler.... he looked a little out of place on a dirty dusty pinic table disecting an 8th scale buggy. And this sounds a little geeky, but we took a drive out the dam for day tour. It was pretty cool. The highway project looks fantastic too. Most of us NW'erners have not see an 8th scale in over a year. Our local club rolled up the asphalt likely for forever. Bezhad has dubbed it: the NW Losers Reunion. I am still gonna have some fun. Gonna make at least a .... C Main!!!

Yes the Life Membership / Houston Treasures is good at
Vegas too! They're all in the same Family! They'll keep
the Capt. cold for ya!
Brad T & Scott F have some memories of the Houston division of Treasures....
If I recall, you and Scott only made night 1 / qualifying @ St. James
and could not get the motors running for the Main / night 2 @ Treasures.

Approx. a week ago I recieved word from the ROAR tech director that PROTOform's dynamic duo - the #1489 Shadow and the #1491 Frizbee are definitely ROAR legal bodies and eligable for the Vegas 1/8th On-Road Nationals.

Kyosho and RB parts available
If anyone needs Kyosho or RB parts (there are even some Mugen parts in there, like clutch springs) check out this eBay link. Personal circumstances force the sale of all of my spares -- everything is in its original packaging (except for the spare chassis) and is brand-new.
The RB stuff (conrods, bearings, etc) will hit the list in a few hours when the eBay server updates.
I can even ship to a hotel in Vegas if you want me to do that.
