Any idea how much this stuff would cost ? Shouldn't be too much more than a 1/7th body.

catdaddy,

The cart came to $152.82

All parts are at Nitrohouse! That's not bad to convert if your club won't let the 1/7th run in the IGT class.

CatDaddy,
You can use the complete front shock kit from the Jammin X1 CRT Truggy...
SHOCK FRONT, 13mm X1-CRT [OFN40630]

Instead of
40054-SHOCK SHAFT, FRONT,9.5
40632-SHOCK BODY, FRONT, 13mm
40090- SHOCK REBUILD, 9.5

Pro stock which 1/5 scale onroad car are you looking to get. Working on finding a good DM-1 Setup once I have something I will post it.

Well guys, just came from the 3rd stage of the Chilean GT Class Championship, and beiing my 2nd race on this class im very very happy.

Qualies are 3 x 5 minutes, and A-Main are 15 minutes (something happened today with the other classes so GT being the last one ended being chopped, being originally 25 minutes).

I made the A-Main directly so thats a good start. IPANEMA SINTEC tyres worked flawlesly on a very hot weather, ended using 45/45 on the main.

Here are couple pics, tomorrow will post race report, setup and video !!

We got the time to test GO Engines on .21 5 and 7 ports during the race, fortunately GO 7 ports took the win and i ended 3rd on GO Engine too.

cya and to all of you who helped me with tips and opinions ... THANKS !!!

With cost not being a factor, would you get a dm1 pro, or dm1 spec?
If ya got the pro, what would you want to change on it?

Get the DM-1 Spec Pro kit. Buy the carbon fiber parts from Max Velocity racing. Order the DM-1 plastic wing kit. Thats what I would do...

I received my new set of Impanema 45 slicks in the mail
today. I know, no big news flash, but this post is going
to get this thread back on the top of page one.

For the complete line of carbon fiber components for the DM1, DM1 Spec, DM1 Pro you can find them at www.maxvelocityracing.com. [/SIZE]

You can stand up your front and rear shocks as well as stand up the servos.

There are also Inferno GT and GT2 carbon fiber parts there.

Cheers

Has anyone tried to use the MVR rear c.f. shock tower
on the front? The reason I ask is it looks like front the c.f.
tower is taller than the original horizonal shock set-up.
It almost looks like there c.f. tower was made for a buggy.
The new body that I'm going to try on my Dm1Pro is going
to be very lo-cut between the front tires, so I'm going to
need all the clearence that I can get.

On my DM-1, I installed the MVR rear CF shock towers on the the front and rear end. You will need an extra set of rear shocks to mount on the front if you use this setup. Clearance no problem what so ever...

That's strange, on the MVR site they state that there
shock towers are the only ones that will work with the
original DM-1 shocks. F... it, I'll call them tomarrow, to
find out for sure.
