(the head clerance can be fixed but requires machining of the head button) Its just not worth it. But it does look cool. I have one and had to do alot of work to it to get it to the level of even a stock MT. (rod and piston change required again requiring machining)
You just cost Ernie a lot $$$ Dennis.

Dennis:

Just a question regarding engine porting (I'm part time wrenching on my new V8 big rat and wrenching on the .12 cockroach ).

On the exhaust port of some .12's are much smaller than the exhaust port on block casting (Have some space on the upper and lower side). If I grind on the lower side of the port up to where the pistong goes to BDC I'm promoting low-end and porting on the upper side promoting high end (Read it somewhere and wanting another opinion)?.

OB,
I jus calls em like I sees em.
Has nothing to do with Ernie, he's just the middle man that proxies the transactions.
I prefer folks to get the biggest bang for the buck regardless of their magazine advertising power. The serios look pretty good, however I need to measure one up and work one to really see. The price isn't bad either.
Are you going to Winternats?
