No, I do not sorry. All I can say is it is a rocket. If you have seen any of his .12's it is very similar but with alot more exhaust timing due to no Roar rules against it.

Default .21 modifying

An Rb .21 S7 or WS7 costs between $220 and $280. I want a pull start on my engine, and RC Alloys makes a conv for these engines for $150. =$370-430! I hope to buy a Haobo Hyper .21 8 Port Pullstart. Then send it to [email protected] for a $100 dollar mod-job, that Dennis Ritchey himself said looks like his work. What do you think? Any better four bolt-pattern cooling heads out there other than Crazy-Nut($69) or Nova Alloy($48+s/h)?

Are you putting this in a TMaxx? If you are a stock RB S7 would be more than enough power. I would never recommend Smeltz for anything but that is personal preference. I don't like contributing to someone copying something somebody else does and sells it for profit. It is kinda like buying stolen property in my opinion. Just my 2 cents.

Default my car:

Ofna Ultra MBX, 2 speed transmission, Hitec Lynx FM tx & rx, Hitec 625MG & 645MG servos- throttle/steering. Dual carbon-disk brakes, RB "63" pipe, Ofna dualspoke crome rims with pro-line "road-rage" street tires. I'm trying to find the fastest modified pullstart engine to get me to 80mph or so, but maybe I will give up, use my starter box, and buy an RB C5, Rossi Black Magic or Maranello.

Avoid Smeltz, at least to give Dennis some respect. Dennis' knowledge and motors have advanced RC technology. Smeltz is just bringing in the cash and not giving back.

Mod motors usually sacrifice some torque for top end. You might be better off with a stock motor in an offroader. If you are still keen GET A NON PULLSTART.

It's unfortunate that someone that's been in the hobby for a while says things like you did. I haven't read any of the motor modifyers talk bad about each other. They are providing a service for those that don't do their own motors or don't have someone to do it for them. It costs money for the tools and time to modify a motor and so they should get what they just deserve. You don't know what these people do with the money and I guarantee you they are not getting rich form it. Do you know for a fact that Smeltz is just bringing in the cash and not giving back? He could be donating it to some worthwhile charity. They all do a great job and are not ripping anybody off. Thanks to you all of you doing your part to enhance the hobby!
