Hey Dennis,

a few people at our track are running Collari's XS12 and they all seem to have problems with the carb.
I have one sitting on my bench for quite a while now and want to put it in my car.

i heard people say that a Nova Rossi carb (mugen MT12?) would help this engine.

Do you have an opinion on that?

Thanks.

Oh, btw, if you need prototype parts anodized, shoot me an e-mail : http://www.members.tripod.com/rc-anodizing/

There are many good alternatives out there now as the manufacturers have stepped it up. JP's are common and the new picco's run real well out of the box.

What engines would you recommend that will run as well as your RTU MT12?

Dennis,

it's going into my Mugen for now.
I got a NTC3 because they are terrorizing us at our track (Sugar Bowl) as long as they last (5-6 minutes ) but I'm not convinced of the car yet. I got a Mugen tank for it already, but the whole car just feels flimsy for a nitro car.
It handles great, no question, it just doesn't give me the confidence to attack with it...

Check you PM

Errr. No more mods? Oh well thats what you get for being lazy. Anyway what unmoded motor would you reccomend? I was looking at the New 5 port O.S. turbo TR, the 3 port Colari turbo, or the RB 5 Port Turbo. What motor do you think would be the best or what do you like the most? I have a JP MT-12 Race now and I want something else to play with. Thank You.

I really want to focus on some new parts for the TC3 and get them into production.

Heres what I will be doing but parts won't be available for a several months at least.

cast alumunium diff cases top and bottom
alumunium pivot ball retainers
bronze pinions
a new carbon deck and fuel tank arrangement.

later this fall.
new narrow chassis
midship engine mounting with the engine turned around and the trans centered in the car
arm pivots built into the top trans cover
carbon shock mounts bolted to the front of the top trans case

full package in red annodize by mid next year. possibly a complete new car by 2004 limited production like a SMP slide.

This is a big endeavor so something has to give.
hey dennis when you get that car kit together give shoot me a e-mail and we will talk price and when i can pick it up
