No biggie... Just to clear the air also, my post was never intended to comment or degrade another product. I have never said bad things about the Reflex. The Serpent spurs subject was brought up and I replied. That's all.

Guys;

Thanks for all of the comments on the Centax clutches. I liked the Idea of using the Centax II on the Reflex and thought it might work as the older design is compatable. I'm sure that I have said this many times before, but I love our Reflexes. (3) and counting.

THE one thing that i had to do with the serpent spur gears was remove some plastic from the inside of the gear here the housing captued the gear, they looked the same but were a few .01"s of a differents between the two molds..just enough to cause a problem. if your looking for a little more bottom end a 50 serpent spur with a yokomo 16 pinon works great, if you run the rear arms all the way forward you may have clearance problems , so make sure you look or you may find that the teeth may wish to part there way from the rest of the gear.

I think most all Reflex owners will agree that Bottom end is NOT a problem with these Cars.
It's when you race on a large permanent racetrack that you run out of poop on the big straights. The 23T pinion with the 44T Spur is the ticket, but trying to find the 23T pinions is impossible. (unless someone has a supplier they want to give up)
