Default clutch bell endplay

A 7.0 final drive(17t pinion and 61t spur) for first is this pretty high and for most track is way more than sufficient. If you need more torque you need to look at the clutch setup your running. Any good clutch setup will wear the pinion and then cause a failure...

Novarossi clutch -yellow shoe (clutch bell gap .80) 1/8th spring Silver 1.4mm tighten down, standard weights.. Softer clutch decrease the gap from .8 to .7...

zx12 mega picco- yellow shoe (clutch bell gap .70)1/8th spring Silver 1.4-1.6 tighten down , standard weights... Softer clutch decrease the gap from .7 to .6
What is the traction of the track that a .8 clutch bell gap would fit most?

What is the appropriate clutch bell endplay?
Something around .2 or .3?

Thanks

Well good question. I run .8 everywhere. The only time I use less if the traction is really bad.

The first thing i do to setup the car is set the clutch to engage at the time it is supposed to and then I start to work on the chassis setup.

If the traction is bad try to use the black shoe instead of the yellow. The same gap as before just change the shoe.

nice pics bradir!!! great videos as well.... keep it up!!!

one quick question on this new steering knuckles, "what is 0 and 1 degree kingpin angle and how does it affect set-up?"

this part is a good upgrade: beefier and looks bulletproof... gotta have a pair of them.

Good one Bradir ... now that they're out, has anyone else tried them? What are they like performance-wise?

And if you compare the pictures, you see the difference....

looking at the pictures, can't really see or know the difference between the 2 parts, coz if the photo of 803212 pair was captured in a position 180 degrees relative to how the 803211 pair was mounted and captured, can't spot the difference...

well, i'll just have to wait and see the actual part in the shop then...
