I was helping my boy this past weekend with his new S353, it really needs some rear springs to calm the wing high attitude and some weight in the rear to say the least. I'm all about seeing ppl get their cars dialed in. I run the mugen buggy and I'm not sure what's comparable to our 10.5T rear spring but that S353 can use a set equal. The Buggy has serious potential, but out the box I think it suffers a lot....

hey.... just get the weight set for the back of the buggy... it works best with between 15-30 grams... also sworkz makes option springs... the car is easy to tune..

I noticed that sworkz in the production cars on one of the batches did have some braces that were having some issues.. I think it was a temp mold issue. I would contact your shop or distrib. in your country or region and ask about the updated 2018 parts to fix it. Hope that helps

I believe they are running changes to kits... look up 2018 manual to make sure... other running changes include little bigger axel bearing and axels... and few other items.

The problem with running changes within the product line.you never really know what's updated, how it is updated, or when it was updated. Of course , every company does the same updates. Some call it a .1,.2,.3,.4, 1.0,2.0,3.0,4.0, rtr, pro kit, factory team kit, and so on.
I too am not aware of every update Sworkz has been doing but I do know that the latest batch of buggies both nitro and electric have been brought to 2018 spec in the very very recent past. As for individual issues, some can be called defect, some cannot. If anyone in the US needs help with their Sworkz products and issues feel free to email me at [email protected]
I look forward to hearing from you.

hey madmick... like kijana said.. they are way different... but if you have a evo II and want it to work more like the new 353.. here are a few tricks... you can get the optional taller towers for the 350be1 which are almost the same as the 353 towers just 3mm taller and actually more hole adjustments for it... then you can switch out the upper front arms for the 353 upper arms and same with the front lower arms.. you will need to keep your pillow ball hubs as the inserts are different and different universal sizes... so keep your evo stuff with the new arms...
this will make the evo 2 drive very similar to the new car .
hope that helps ...
cheers mate.

Raul, are you stocking the heavier duty bell cranks? Or order only? Broke a set at dnc. Good to hear they have an upgrade.

Has anyone discovered why bellcrank brakes? I think its because upper arm hits to it when suspension is on full travel? S350 upper arms gives more room for bellcrank if we are speaking that part what connects to ackermanplate?

Hi flat7.... no you would be fine using your evo 2 towers... they are a little shorter then the 353 and a little wider at top... if you run inside first 3 holes its similar geometry as new towers.... if you run more outside holes it stands shock up more and will quicken steering response... you can limit travel to offset tower height... the 353 has a different pill insert setup then the evo 2 tower... but both will work fine. hope that helps.
