Im pretty sure the top pros can make a mop with an engine and tires on it look fast. Yes pillow balls push over a lot of stuff but I’ve seen that work against drivers. Nitro challenge is a weird track where high speed corners work in its favor but I will still say having that little extra feel that our losi has can bring your car back from a push. I love that about my losi, I love turning hard and the car responding hard telling me what it wants. Jeez now I wanna go drive at 11pm.

Since I can’t drive right now I guess I will share something that has made my car a lot better, the new disk brakes in the tuning kit has made my buggy a trillion times better on braking, no more fade and best of all they are smooth instead of pulsating. My worry was they would be on off feeling but that’s not the case, they are buttery smooth and will stop u immediately if u need to, best of both worlds.

I was thinking about trying out evo springs for the 4.0 shocks on both nitro and EBuggy 4.0. Anyone in here use them. Do they help a lot. What's a good spring rate for front and back that's in the middle if I only bought one set to try them. Thanks

Try to get spring rate similar to what you run now and start there.

Check out a pic of a mugen, ae or sworkz front outer suspension pivots where the front spindle attaches......that's a pillowball system

I doubt Losi will switch to a pillow ball system.

night and day difference if you ask me. Im currently running Renos shock package and I do like it. purple front and yellow rear.

I would suggest you try like Blue front and yellow or orange rear.

Green, Blue and Purple fronts are popular and yellow, orange rears

You will also need PN: LOSA5435 in order to run the bigger spring.

There is also a video on https://www.facebook.com/TeamLosiRacing/ where the team manager talks about these parts - go check it out...

Thanks man appreciate it. Those videos will help a lot! That's one thing I wish TLR had more videos explaining things. That just came true! Definitely gonna order the springs. They said start with blue front and yellow rear. I'll probably order those to start off with and see how they are. Thanks

C hub has more feel and more mid corner steering. Also pillow ball seems to be very caster sensitive where you need to pick which turns you want your car will work best in and set caster accordingly.

No jeed to replace the entire dogbone instead get the mugen pin replacement tool (mugb0541) and some mugen pins (mugc0271 or mugc0270). Works great and can be used on all drive train parts. As far as the outdrive (tlr242003) that will need to be replaced every so often ive found that the front wears a little faster than the rear. Just take of the front clip to get easy access to both the outdrive and dogbone.
