Losi 4.0 buggy ?

Had a race and a couple practice days with the new car. It's is simply amazing. Jumps, lands, steers, rear traction, bump handling, all much better then the 3.0. I know some think there are not enough changes to justify going from 3.0 to 4.0, but 1 to 1.5 seconds a lap, I say it does. Plus the larger outer wheel bearings, the improved upper shock mounting, boots for cva's, lending to longer lasting parts. Oh, the bleeder shock caps making oil changes a breeze. Well done TLR. I let a friend drive my car and he was 2 seconds a lap faster then his K car in just a couple laps in.

could someone tell me what are the advantages and disadvantages of running emulsion shocks in comparison to the bladder type shocks and vice versa?

Emulsion shocks allow instant shock action. What I mean by is, the piston will start passing oil thru the hole at the start of its travel. So more responsive.
Bladder shocks travel oil thru the piston after the bladder travels, so essentially the car loses travel a mm or 2 before the pistion/oil works. So less responsive.
I have been running emulsion exclusively for well over a year. It lands better, by recovering the landing quicker. Less bottoming out. Plus if there are any higher speed, abrupt jump faces, the car will not bottom out on face of jumps so hard and stay in line without getting car upset.

Think about it for a minute. What's the release history for most of these cars?
What if I told you...someday, they will come out with a new nitro buggy. Would you think I'm wrong? It's inevitable they upgrade their line up...Just like Chevy, dodge and ford, will have new models every so often.

Great build so far.dust boots are really nice. Shock r next and im really excited to build 8th scale emoultion shocks. Very cool. Anyone know if we can run the front and rr hubs and c hubs on the 3.0 truggy? 8/16 bearing would really help there too
