Its a combination of the pins and the arm design that make them so bendy!

get Xray XB9 lower arm hing pins much cheaper 2 for $8. they dont bend so easily

I wish they would do the shock caps like kyosho does with the inserts. Every time i turn around, the shock cap holes are stretched out.

Clean your Shock cap bushing's....as soon as a tiny amount of dirt/Dust get's on the bushing's they start to wear.

Glue you insert to you shock cap with CA. Put you shockcap in a bit of acetone when the insert is worn out and needs to be chenged. Remove the bladder.

Does this keep the cap from stretching?

Cut a +-6mm piece of fuel tube and eliminate the bushing altogether, I don't think you will ever wear the cap down after doing that.

Can you share a link? I have tried a couple drill blanks and they both have been too soft and bend easier than the 3.0 hinge pins. Most blanks are pre-hardened and hardened ones are $$$$.

The agama hinge pins are pretty strong and a bit cheaper than the xray ones, about the strongest I've found, others are hongnor, AE and durango.

As far as drill blanks and "homemade" pins go, I've tried other guys and tried making a few from stainless steel but between the corrosive nature and quick wear of my pins i realised its less effort in the long run to go with the purpose built ones.

On another note ive also found the 2.0 hinge pins to be quite a bit harder than the 3.0 ones.

Never tried it myself as I don't have the issue but why not piano wire ? They go up to more than 6mm diameter easily. They're common, cheap as you buy them by the meter and very tough (don't cut it with a hacksaw, only with a disc).

I looks good an hopefully is an improvement but I don't like the silly sized receiver box that was one of my only issues with the 3.0,unless you use the micro spektrum receivers it's tight as hell in there,i made the switch to ko and the receivers are slightly taller meaning in both my cars they are on there side instead of flat on the bottom and I just see this a design flaw.
