Hard to say. Yes Maifield clipped him. But if you watch it again. Instead of powering through he did let him recover 1st. Then took him over cleanly.

He wouldn't need hold up if he hadn't first taken Tessman out with that dirty move. Dirty. Just dirty.

Rivkin took out Lutz on the last turn of the race. Dirty. Top left of screen.

Looked dirty to me. Maifield hacked Ty in the berm turn. Sure he doesn't go for the pass there because it was probably blatant, but those types of hacks throws off your rhythm. the Redrc video of the buggy final also shows Maifield getting into Ty in the turn before the step up where Maifield makes the pass.

But Maifield in the truggy main Did he miss his pit lap or did his crew send out for another lap and take an unnecessary risk?

I've never been to a big race like this one and I was thinking about going. My question is roughly how much would It cost me to do something like this? How many tires do you go through, can you buy tires ans stuff ther, how much fuel though the weekend, entry fees, do they charge you to stay at the track? Thanks

Watch again, Phend was in the right direction, maifield was the wrong way and was still pushing. The one on the receiving end of a collision has right of way.

Do any of you guys watch supercross? These types of crashes happen all the time when you have a jump leading right into a tight 180 berm. Lines will cross it's a factor of racing and when there's not much you can do when the guy in front of you spins out or runs a different line with only 5 feet of room to stop/ change lines after landing. I wouldn't call any of these intentional "hacks".

NO. I'm not a maifield fanboy, just calling it the way it is.

Entry fees, food, and travel and lodging will be the brunt of the cost. If you want to be competitive, you might use the same set of tires for two different 7 minute runs, although many will use a new set of tires for every run. Also about 1/2 a gallon per nitro entry. Last year I went through almost a gallon for buggy because I had awful quals and bumped 4 times. Tires on sale by aka and proline, but their costs have risen over the years to nearly the cost of online pricing.

True. Ryan should have let him through on that one.
